Mini-splits are ductless heating and cooling systems that allow you to control the temperature in specific areas or rooms. They’re known for being both flexible and highly efficient, and their ability to target specific zones is what makes them unique. Mini-split systems employ two main components: an outdoor compressor/condenser and an indoor air-handling unit(s) (evaporator). They are easy to install, usually requiring only a three-inch hole through a wall for the conduit; which houses the power and communication cables, copper tubing, and a condensation drain line, linking the outdoor and indoor units.
Single Zone Ductless Hotpoint Heat Pump Mini Splits

- All-Season Comfort – With heating down to -15°F and cooling up to 115°F, homeowners know they’re coming home to comfort – no matter the weather outside.
- Environmentally Compliant – All Hotpoint systems use R32 refrigerant, ensuring that they meet EPA Low GWP refrigerant regulations.
- High-Performance Inverter Technology – A DC inverter compressor keeps indoor temperatures consistent in almost any climate and helps owners save money on energy.
- Wi-Fi Connectivity – Hotpoint® systems connect seamlessly to the SmartHQ™ App from GE Appliances. With SmartHQ™, owners get more control over their guests’ comfort.
- Efficient Operation – High-power turbo mode and warm start technology help heat and cool rooms more quickly, and an auto louver adjusts airflow upward when cooling and downward when heating.
- Built to Last – A hydrophilic aluminum fin helps prevent condensation buildup and ensures water flows through the unit smoothly.
- Protective Base Pan Heater – Outdoor units have a built-in base pan heater that prevents systems from freezing and keeps them operating at peak performance.
- Easy to Install, Easy to Service – A mounting template and mounting plate with dimensions make installation a breeze, while an extended kickstand and easy-access control board let you service systems without removing casings. Plus, a two-way piping drain on the right and left sides makes installation easier and ensures units fit in more applications.
Single Zone Ductless Innovair Heat Pump Mini Splits

- Low Ambient Heating and High Ambient Cooling – System can operate with outdoor temperatures as low as -4°F and as high as 118°F.
- Energy Saving Inverter Technology – Unlike traditional compressors that turn on and off multiple times, Innovair’s inverter compressors feature variable power that automatically adjusts the running speed to maintain the desired temperature. That way, an Innovair unit runs quietly and features significant energy savings.
- Multi-Layer Filter – 4 in 1 Filter helps to remove dust, bacteria and allergens for a healthier environment.
- Self-Diagnostic – System will automatically present an error code to help identify for troubleshooting. In the case of abnormal operation, the unit will protect the system by shutting down automatically. Meanwhile, the error code enables engineers to identify the problem quickly.
- Installation Kit Included – Insulated copper lines, communication cable, and other accessories included.
- Sleep Mode – One click to limit the maximum frequency current while still maintain the room temperature within the optimal temperature, guarantee a cool night sleep with maximum energy saving at low sound levels.
- Self-Clean Mode – The Self-Clean mode uses intelligent washing technology to help prevent dust and bacteria build-up on the indoor coil. They mode works by allowing condensation to build up inside the indoor uni. After 15 minutes, the dust and bacteria will be frozen. The system will then enter a quick heating mode, fully draining the frost along with the dust and bacteria.
- Turbo Cooling – With this function, the air conditioner will maximize the output of cooling capacity, making the room cool down rapidly, and attain the desired temperature in the shortest time.
Single Zone & Mult-Zone Ductless GE Mini Splits – Only Available Upon Request

GE mini-splits are energy-efficient, ductless heating and cooling systems designed for flexible, zoned comfort in homes and businesses, particularly where ductwork is not practical. Offering high efficiency (up to 20+ SEER) and quiet operation, they include single and multi-zone options with inverter technology, Wi-Fi connectivity via SmartHQ, and low-ambient heating capabilities. Matching one outdoor unit with a variety of multiple indoor units provides contractors unprecedented application flexibility.

- R454B Refrigerant – A lower Global Warming Potential (GWP), eco-friendly option that meets updated refrigerant guidelines while maintaining high efficiency.
- Over-the-Air Updates – A high-speed communication wire between the outdoor and indoor unit allows outdoor unit over-the-air (OTA) updates via the SmartHQTM Home app.
- DC Inverter Technology – Advanced DC inverter technology enhances energy efficiency, cuts costs, and improves reliability, making it ideal for energy-conscious homeowners.
- Blue Fin – A hydrophilic aluminum fin provides corrosion protection and ensures smooth water flow for long-lasting performance.
- Auto-Start – Auto restart automatically restarts the system after a power outage for seamless operation.
What Type of Air Conditioner Do You Need?
PTAC
Packaged Terminal Air Conditioner (PTAC) units are ductless, self-contained heating and cooling units that are mounted through a wall. These commercial-grade air conditioners are found in hotels and motels, multi-family communities and senior or assisted living facilities. In these locations, quiet and comfortable rooms are key to guest satisfaction and the PTAC’s customizable settings and easy operation can meet even the pickiest guests’ climate control demands.
The majority of PTACs come in the same standard size – 42″ wide, 16″ high and 13-3/4″ deep – which will fit into most wall sleeves and grilles (which are required for installation). There are two types of PTACs: electric heat and heat pump. Electric heat (also referred to as resistance heat) PTACs generate heat by passing electricity through wires that directly heat up (similar to how a toaster works). Heat pumps typically consume less energy operate by removing heat from the outside air – even when the outside temperature is below freezing – and releasing the heat indoors.
TTW
Through-the-Wall (TTW) air conditioners will quickly cool rooms and other spaces using outdoor air to create airflow while still being environmentally friendly. Unlike window units, which sit on a sill, wall-mounted air conditioners are installed right into an exterior wall, using a wall sleeve for support. This leaves you with more window space and an unobstructed view. While installation on this kind of unit is more permanent, TTW air conditioners are much more secure and don’t allow for the kind of air seepage you typically get with window units. They can also be installed higher up or lower down on the wall to fit into your room or suite, depending on space.
TTWs come in electric heat/cool and cool only models. If you plan on using the unit year-round, consider a model with both cooling and heating abilities. These commercial-grade air conditioners are found in hotels and motels, multi-family communities and senior or assisted living facilities.
VTAC
Vertical Terminal Air Conditioners (VTAC) provide a home-like appearance to your room, quieter operation and a wall thermostat that helps guests feel right at home. Rather than a traditional PTAC or TTW unit, VTACs do not need to be mounted under or near a window. It is still a through-the-wall, packaged terminal unit, but instead of being 42″ wide and installed under the window in the middle of the room, it has a vertical configuration and is installed in a closet-like corner enclosure. This makes more room design options available and curtains can hang all the way to floor.
They are designed as an alternative to large, expensive central systems with none of the location restrictions of a traditional window unit. Because the unit is ducted, it can serve a single room or multiple rooms – thus giving you the cost benefit of package terminal units with the aesthetics, quieter operation and flexibility of a central system. You can find these units hotels and motels, extended stays, multi-family communities and senior or assisted living facilities.
Window RAC
Window air conditioners are the simplest type of A/C unit that are installed or mounted into an open window and plugged into an electrical outlet. Because of its simple installation, it can be moved from window to window as needed, and a large house or building may have several such units, allowing each room to be cooled separately.
The interior air is cooled as a fan blows it over the evaporator. On the exterior, the heat drawn from the interior is dissipated into the environment as a second fan blows outside air over the condenser.
